Macbeth, a play of brutal and ruthless ambition and their monstrous consequences. The ensemble of Københavns Shakespeare Kompagni brings this new, intimate and affecting production to Copenhagen’s storytelling stage at Teater Deer and Rabbits. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth murder their way to power and titles in the harsh magic of medieval Scotland. The performance is a gruesome portrait of a power-hungry elite that will spare no-one to achieve its goal, and even after more than 400 years it is still eerily relevant.
