Japanese sludge trio BORIS is going on tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album “Pink” which Pitchfork referred to as “their most melodic, conventionally structured, and aggressively addictive LP to date”. Since then they have released an ocean of new music, never faltering or straying from their ambient, sludge core but always surprising. In 2000 they released their single “flood”, a 70 minute song that feels more like a cinematic masterpiece than simply just a song.
